Our Journey Forward: Strengthening Community in Changing Times Putaruru, 08/05/202 Pride in Putaruru has always been about people—the connections we foster, the support we provide, and the shared vision for a stronger, thriving region. Through major events, fundraising initiatives, and grassroots efforts, we’ve built something lasting. As changes in funding shift how we operate, we must adapt—but our commitment to community will not waver. We remain dedicated to creating spaces where people feel connected, valued, and empowered. The way we deliver our services may change, but the heart of what we do remains the same. Our signature events will continue, standing as a testament to the resilience of this region. But we will also embrace new ways of working—leaning into the strength of our people, reimagining collaboration, and ensuring that the essence of what we’ve built continues to flourish. “This is a moment for reflection and innovation,” refining how we deliver impact while staying true to the guiding values that make this community what it is. As we enter this next chapter, we welcome the voices and ideas that will shape our future. Together, we will ensure that what matters most endures—connection, community, and the shared purpose that brings us all together.
